Empty Coal Train
A rake of empty coal trucks trundles slowly southwards behind an LNER Q6 locomotive. Coal traffic was an important feature of the branch, and empty coal trains still used it until the start of the 1960's - these were probably the final regular traffic.
The Locomotive is an Alexander Models Q6, white metal with a nickle silver chassis, DS10 motor and Romford 40:1 gears. The transfers are HMRS pressfix.
