Andrew's compact exhibition layout Houghton Lane Yard is now for sale.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a working exhibition layout based on BR industrial shunting. It features a private siding serving a factory and warehouse, also a small goods/coal yard. At 5ft. x 1ft. (including the removable fiddle yard cartridge), the layout is rather compact and when dismantled for carriage, takes up a 2ft. X 1ft. X 1ft. space. It will easily fit in the boot of a car. The layout made its exhibition debut at the Perth Green MRE in March 2011 and has not been over exposed on the circuit.

The sale is for a working layout, including baseboards, track and scenery, as well as a Guagemaster hand held controller. The purchaser will need to provide the appropriate 16V AC power supplies. No stock is included in the sale, but a road sweeper with working flashing amber light will be included.

The layout may be collected at the end of the forthcoming Newton Aycliffe show, where it can be seen in operation.
